Game Information

Idahoans can play Powerball, Mega Millions, Lotto America and Lucky for Life, but they also have some fun in-state games at their disposal.

5 Star Draw

5 Star Draw offers jackpots of at least $250,000 every Tuesday and Friday night. For one $5 play, you get two chances to win. You just need to select five numbers from 1 to 45 on one half of the play board and another set of five numbers from 1 to 45 on the other half. Alternatively, you can ask for a Quick Pick to get a random selection. If you purchase five plays on one ticket, the fifth one is free, giving you five plays for $20!

You win prizes if your numbers match the winning numbers. Match all five and a payout worth hundreds of thousands dollars could be yours, as the jackpot keeps growing every time it is not won. The following table shows all the different ways to win and the prizes you receive for each one.

Winning Tier Prize Odds of Winning
Match 5 of 5 Jackpot 1 in 610,880
Match 4 of 5 $1,000 1 in 3,054
Match 3 of 5 $20 1 in 78
Match 2 of 5 $5 1 in 6
Overall odds of winning a 5 Star Draw prize are 1 in 6

Weekly Grand

Weekly Grand could see you win $1,000 a week for a full year with all taxes already sorted out for you. Drawings are held on Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 PM. All you need to do is pay $2 per ticket and pick five numbers from 1 to 32 or have them randomly generated for you by choosing a Quick Pick. If you match all five numbers drawn, then you’ll snag the top prize! Here are the odds and cash amounts on offer:

Winning Tier Prize Odds of Winning
Match 5 of 5 $1,000 a week for a year 1 in 201,376
Match 4 of 5 $200 1 in 1,492
Match 3 of 5 $25 1 in 57
Match 2 of 5 Free Quick Pick Ticket 1 in 7
Odds of winning any Weekly Grand prize are 1 in 6.12

Other Idaho Lottery games include charitable Bingo Raffle games, Cash and Pick 3.
