SAN CARLOS — Whoever won the $20 million top Super Lotto Plus lottery game prize Saturday night after after purchasing a ticket at a gas station here has still not been identified, officials said.
The ticket was purchased at the SDT Holly Shell Station, 500 El Camino Real.
The buyer was the only one to pick all five winning numbers, which were 1, 18, 22, 26 and 27, and the mega number, which was 12.
It was not known if the person played their regular numbers or did quick picks.
An employee at the station said Monday she did not know who bought the ticket, but a lot of their regular customers were coming in saying they wish it was them. “It is a little bit exciting,” she said.
The station has never sold such a large winning ticket.
The winner has 180 days from the night of the draw to claim their prize and will have to pay federal taxes on the winnings.
Super Lotto Plus games are played Wednesday and Saturday nights. The top jackpot for Wednesday’s game will be at least $7 million.
The person got all the numbers in Saturday's Super Lotto Plus game.
