*For holidays falling on Saturday, Federal Reserve Banks and Branches will be open the preceding Friday. For holidays falling on Sunday, all Federal Reserve Banks and Branches will be closed the following Monday. An expanded schedule can be found on the Board of Governors’ website (Off-site).

Holidays Observed – K.8

K.8 – Holidays Observed by the Federal Reserve System 2020-2024

For holidays falling on Saturday, Federal Reserve Banks and Branches will be open the preceding Friday; however, the Board of Governors will be closed. For holidays falling on Sunday, all Federal Reserve offices will be closed the following Monday.

* Saturday – the Board of Governors is closed on July 3, 2020, December 24, 2021, December 31, 2021, and November 10, 2023.

** Sunday – the Board of Governors is closed on July 5, 2021, December 26, 2022, and January 2, 2023.

The Board of Governors is closed in observance of Inauguration Day on January 20, 2021.
